This is a very nice intake and it installed very easily. I replaced a Volant intake with this K&N. The Volant blocked the accessibility to the passenger side headlight, and I did not like the fitment of the mass air flow sensor inside the sealed box of the Volant. The K&N fits much better and does not block the headlight. The mass air flow sensor mounts right on the main pipe and the fit is much better. The filter is also much larger on the K&N than the one on the Volant. K&N is the best!!

After months of research, debating which CAI to purchase I finally went with the K&N 77 series! The performance is impressive, not overwhelming but that little HP is worth it! That sound is a head turner! Sounds like a beast, when accelerating! Overall GREAT product!

It was shipped and then installed right away in my 2001 Tacoma. Its got looks and you hear and feel a difference in performance. Even my exhaust sounded a lot meaner. The whistle that it makes sounds like a turbo.... love it!

Pretty straight forward install, cutting the 1 3/8" hole was a bit tricky, and the hardware provided nod not match the instructions all the way. Despite, install took just under an hour once the side hole was cut in the tube. Looks great, sounds great and provides a little extra boost.

I was hoping to install this unit myself, but after looking at the instructions and being clueless about a couple of things, I decided to bring it to my local shop. The amount they charged was well worth the potential time and frustration - not to mention that they have all the equipment needed. They said the installation was no problem and the check engine light hasn't come on, so everything looks good. The real test will be when I take it out on some dusty roads next week in WY.

What a great addition to my "03" Toyota Tacoma! Installation was a breeze considering I'm not a "do it yourself" kinda guy. Just follow the suppled instructions that come w/the unit and you should be done w/installation in about 1 1/2 hours. To early to see any results, but it sure sounds great!!!!!!!! The whole process from ordering to shipping via "AutoAnything" was a pleasure. By the way, I did notice from the beginning, that my throttle response has greatly improve.

The K&N intake was the best modification I could have done for my truck. The engine idles and runs noticibly smoother, like it was supposed to. I am alot more confident getting on the freeway. The throttle is way more responsive.
