Had many tell me this type of intake really wouldn't make much difference in performance on today's engines. They said it would make it sound more throaty, but not much else. Let me tell ya, they were full of it. Performance increase is awesome. Love it!

Adds HP while looking good

I bought this for my 2010 Ram w/Hemi. I love it. Easy enough to install, added a bit of horsepower, a better, tougher sound from the motor, and it just looks great. The quality of all of it appears to be good.

Have had installed for about a month and I enjoy the sound it makes. Hasn't really been long enough time to see any mpg difference as all my driving has been city and have been using 4wd lately due to weather. Hoping this summer I can really some some sort of increase in mpg. For the overall price I would say it's more fun to know I have it than to see any difference in efficiency.

Well worth it!

Can decibel tell a difference in throttle response. Has a good sounding whistle to it as well.

Sounds Awesome!!!

This cold air intake is great. Very easy installation on my 2013 ram. If it weren't for the plastic vacuum connector. Be very careful as I crossed the threads almost immediately. Found a nice brass connector at my local auto parts store. Don't know about gas miliage yet because of the extra horsepower and sound, I'm always stepping on it..ha ha!

Obvious increase in power, just finished a 600 mile trip, pulling a 7k lbs travel trailer and noticed improved mpg while towing, also noticed the deep roar the engine has now btwn 25-40 rpms. Easy install, overall very satisfied thus far..

Most bang for your buck

If you want to open up some horsepower this is the single best place to start. For the money nothing else gives you more bang for your buck.I have this system on 4 vehicles from I6 jeeps to 5.7 hemi and all have noticeable low end grunt. The next thing to look at is exhaust now that your sucking more air. These are a breeze to install even for the non-mechanic.As always K&N quality is present.I cannot speak for other brands as I have no experience with them.

i had the kit installed about 3 hours because i had problem with the hose that is connected to the air intake vent (H) because it continued to bend and i have to get an 45 degree adapter from Williams oil filter (Tacoma) to undo the kink. After that, everything sounded well especially if you step on the gas, it obviously added power with no more muffled sound as if the engine could now breath.

Installation instructions and video are excellent, made the installation easy. Only problem is step 9. The ID of provided silicone crank case vent hose is the same as OD of the crank case vent tube. Was not easy to slip the hose over the tube. I like the sound of the truck . Makes it sound more like a truck. Runs better.
