K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit Part #77-2580KP Customer Reviews

Installed my K&N 77 Series intake a couple weeks ago on my 2010 F-150. The installation was a breeze with the provided instructions, and everything fit perfectly. I can definitely tell a bit more power, especially when the engine is up around 3000-4000 RPM's. I have also noticed about 1 MPG better all around than before, however it's hard to keep your foot our of the gas! The sound is awesome! I also have Magnaflow exhaust and the intake really made the engine come alive. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in an aftermarket intake.

A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Easy to install, needed only a screwdriver and a few minutes. Sounds awesome! Will have to wait and see about the mileage improvement as the truck just doesen't get driven all that much. Very satisfied so far.

It's a little louder than I expected. Looks great. I don't believe my mileage got any better. I'll know better this summer when I start towing my 7000# boat. 45 min. to install.

Very nice quality, it installs very easily and milage has picked up about 2 mpg on longer trips. The only downside is that it is considerably louder than the factory unit - especially on heavy acceleration.

I drive a 2010 Ford F-150 XLT, 4.6, 3V that I purchased in May 2010. I have 5800 miles on it as of today, so you can see I don't drive too many highway miles. I mention this only because when my stock air intake was installed on my truck, my mpg was averaging 15.8 to 16.3 mpg according to my on-board computer. For the past year my mpg never varied from those numbers. After following the instructions in detail and installing the K&N Air Intake, I immediately noticed that my on-board computer indicated I was averaging 12 to 13 mpg. I'm not looking for an increase in mpg with the K&N Air Intake, I just don't want a 3 or 4 mpg decrease. I spoke with a K&N rep and he suggested that I run a tank or two of gas through the engine to see if the on-board computer adjusts to the volume of air and if it doesn't to return the air intake for a refund if so desired. Lastly, the K&N was easy to install and it looks good and it sounds even better.

Felt like I waited forever for K&N to finally make this to fit the 2010 F-150 with the 4.6, 3 vavle engine, but since I was on their up date list I was able to order it as soon as it came out, even before it was on any one part inventory. VERY EASY install, Looks Great. You can hear the air flow being sucked in now, adding even more sound and power to my flow master exhaust system Price was good with some help from AutoAnythings 15% off sale.
