I got a 91 cougar not to long ago. Been slowly replacing stock parts, it definitely gave my cougar the acceleration and little horsepower boost it needed. The mpg boost was nice to.

Went in pretty easily. However, I did have to widen the adjustment slot for the bracket to the front. Noticed a big improvement immediately in horsepower. Not too loud either.

I got one for my 97 Ford Thunderbird 4.6 V8 and it was really easy to install looks great and it does make a differance in my mpg/hp the mpgs would have been better if I didnt drive it so hard but its just funner that way its also too bad that it didnt come with an heat shield but the K&N is freakin awesome wish they made one for my 95 Pontiac sunfire

The install took maybe an hour. All hardware was included, but I haven't noticed much of an increase in performance. I have yet to fill up since installing it, so hopefully the MPG increase (if there is any) will be sizeable enough to keep the kit on.
