2003 Ranger 3.0. Added a MagnaFLow exhaust, picked up 2 mpg. Added alloy wheels and Toya AT2 tires, increasing total weight per tire/wheel by 9lbs. Tread and weight dropped me 2mpg. Traded out a bed extender for Tonneau cover and saw no mpg change, but in general had more power especially on the freeway. THEN, added the K&N equals 1-2 mpg improvement, but no added sound as some had reported in other testimonials. No question that I have more power on the low end and coming uphill. Recommend

The K&N air intake was easy to install and only took about 20 mins. I love the sound when you hit the gas. No noticeable difference in the horse power or the gas mileage.

This isn't the first time that I have used K&N intake on my vehicles. I have to say I have always loved the performance gain, increase in fuel mileage when staying on the gas, and the quality product. Specifically for my truck I was more then pleased I was blown away by the performance gain and the fuel mileage gain. Just a very high quality product that everyone should have on their truck.

Instal wasnt to bad I managed to get it done in about 40 Minutes. When You do it make sure you put the filter on before you install the tube and don't tigten down any bolts till you finish

I did notice a little bit of power and also it sounds pretty beefy, but overall i am happy with it and I would recomend it to anyone.
