I didn't know what to expect when I bought this product aside from hopefully more than 10hp but after taking forever to get my stock air filter system out, I installed the K&N system with ease and the directions hit the money. The grommet was a bit too small so that took a bit of time and TLC to get just right in the filter's pipe. Aside from that, pretty simple installation, the car has a bit of a growl now to it, and I love the sound of filter sucking in the air when I press the gas.

Installation was a snap and I loved the power boost in the higher rpm ranges. The rich tone it creates is great the only caution would be to be cautious of deep puddles because the intake is down so low

ford focus 2.3 duratec I noticed the increase in power @ the 3.5 rpm range and can hear the car roar a little it makes it sound like I put on an exhaust I do like this product.

I've had the K&N CAI installed for about two weeks now. I am definitely getting more power available at all ranges; I don't redline the engine, so I don't know what it's like at the high range. However, I can say that the surge of energy (and sound) is pronounced to what I experienced before. I have 102K miles and the engine feels stronger than new. I think that I am getting about 10% better in mileage; can't tell for sure until after I stop using the a/c. In any case I am at least getting the same mileage with more power and the use of the a/c for what I got before without the a/c on. The installation was very clear; it's great that you can open the pdf file before you purchase. I guess that shows the company confidence in the product. My next step is the Borla exhaust.
