It is awesome! I like the deaper sound it gave my car and the hp! You can definitely notice the difference! And it looks awesome under the hood! But I think they should use better pictures on the instructions manuel instead Of black and white and more pictures at tht!

Instructions were a little vague (surprising for K&N), but installation was about an hour. Went out for a test drive after install and WOW what a difference! Revs so much faster, really pins you back in the seat (my Mustang also has a Magnaflo catback exhaust). This is truly a great bang for your buck upgrade, would highly recommend.

Awesome product, easy installation, great price! One of the best Mods for your Pony Car sounds great and adds some giddy up. 4.6L V8 GT.

I've owned a total of 5 vehicles including my recent ride an 06 Mustang Gt in screaming yellow with black stripes. I installed a K@N kit in each of them. Bottom line you get what you pay for, and with K@N that means a quality product that works as advertised period. No doubt about it this kit made a difference in my stangs performance. And if that's not enough I get better gas mileage. Also thank you to AutoAnything for the great low price (Lowest anywhere) and fast shipping. Great product offered by a great company. Thank you.

This unit not only produces more HP but also gives it a more powerful sound. After taking a trip I can safely say I picked up an additional 1.3 MPG. This product is the assume!

I really shopped around before deciding on the K&N. Like most enthusiasts, I was torn between price and getting one that did not require a tune. Pluse there were fancier models and brand names to consider. But after installing this on my 2006 Mustang GT, it was like putting a breathe right strip on your stopped up nose. I am not kidding. Having never had a "performance" car, I was constantly clutching 1st gear into the "wobble start" coming from a stoplight, then chirping into second gear because of the built up pressure. Now, I can run out first gear full range smoothly, getting the acceleration usually reserved for second gear, then my top end is higher too. It really does increase horsepower by at least 15 HP or more. And the mileage? I went from 17 mpg average around town to a solid 20 mpg now. HWY is more like 27 now, probably more if I take a long trip with a full tank from the start. Enough talk, I really like it! It makes a GT engine run the way they designed it to. Plus you can't beat the price from this web site anywhere, don't even try.

I noticed the boost in responsiveness immediately as well as a new throatier sound, however not sure there was any noticeable increase in horse power. Gas average per gallon pretty much stayed the same.
