I bought this K&N cold air intake to liven up and improve the gas mileage on my 2002 Chevy S10 with the 4.3 V6. It gave my truck much better throttle response and improved my gas mileage by about 1.5 miles per gallon. The product was very easy to install and I would buy another one for a future vehicle.

This intake has been great! Installed on my 2005 Blazer, and I could immediately tell a difference in horsepower. Still testing my first tank of gas for mileage, but seems to have improved as well! Don't hesitate in making this purchase if you are on the fence; It's worth it!

I purchased this item based on many years of experience with K&N products used in the marine industry. We would not have installed a K&N item on our customer's boats if they weren't worth the money! I figured, with the performance boost the boats got, I would cash in on a boost to my tow vehicle's performance and gas mileage.

The installation was pretty easy except for step number 10 I believe it was wasn't necessary. Other than that it was simple. It does make a difference in noise when accelerating to 50-60mph and sounds pretty mean. I also checked the mpg over a 100 mile trip all highway and I dropped 2mpg than what i normally get. I don't know if I calculated it wrong or what but hopefully it was a fluke. As for looks for 200 dollars it should look better but it's under the hood who cares its for performance.

I should have purchased this FIPK years earlier.. Gives the old truck an added pep that it has been lacking.. Not sure about the added gas mileage just yet, but the intake sounds great when I put the pedal to the floor.. Instructions were easy and straight forward. Would recommend
