Got one after I hit a deer and the intake system was destroyed. More HP. not sure how much, but a noticable difference. Installed in about 2 hours. A little extra unrestricted air is the ticket. Would recommend. An extra 100.00 will get you a crome tube.

I read the instructions an extremly greatful I could find the pictures from the directions matched to my engine so I wasn't totally lost. Took me a little over an hour to install. I am sure there are some tricks to hoses and clamps however staying the coarse and completing the task resulted in a better ideling and acceleration. The wife can tell a difference, too.

this kit is worth the money!! had my truck on a dyno to test k&n to see if it really got 11HP. i actually got 9.9hp out of it. so yes they work unlike those fake metal kits from autozone. its gives your truck a deeper tone with WOT.you can feel the extra power in the mid to high rpm range. i would recommend this product over any other intake. i tried volant and they just werent that great.

My truck has had condensation puddling in the factory Resonator, a cold climate problem that no one at Chevrolet seems to acknowledge? Anyway, this kit eliminates the Resonator and I thought it might help?. The kit looks good and installed pretty much as instructed? Normal driving is well, normal and that's a good thing. A heavy throttle results in a lot of intake noise, good and bad depending on your likes. If there's more HP, OK, if there's more fuel mileage, that would be welcome as we head towards $4.00 a gallon. I can't confirm either after only one week, but I like it and feel it's a very decent piece of kit.

I am very happy with this air intake system. Installation was pretty simple and the horsepower difference was really noticeable.

Great upgrade to dramatically increase throttle response. Just as I expected, uses a little more gas in the city, but appropriately makes up for it on the highway. A must need if a highway driver. High RPM's are broken loose with easy breathing. Gave me additional average of 1.5mpg. Easy installation.
