When the package came, it was a thing of beauty. Installation took about an hour. Pretty quick install. Very satisfied with this product. Now just gotta ease my foot off the gas pedal. Really loud when flooring up to to 4-5 RPM's.

I've had my 2003 Nissan Frontier since spring of 2007 and just now realized spending the money to put an after market air filter system is worth it! I suddenly saw improvement in MPG and power. With the new K&N system my truck is a lot my snappy and the throttle response is awesome! One draw back was one of the pieces didn't fit the bolts provides, being the holes were drilled too small. I'd expect more out of a reputable company, that should never occur! Still no word from K&N about that issue

overall I like the K&N 57 Air Intake, it adds a little power which the vehicle needed but the airy sound i could do without. But horse power for a little air I can certainly put up with

Bought the K&N for my Xterra. Really woke it up. Installation was easy except for two things, one of which was my own mistake which I corrected quickly and the second one was that the brace/filter adapter that attaches to the heat shield and MAF, the holes were a bit too small for the bolts provided. Little bit of boring out the holes with a drill did the trick. Great product as always from K&N.

Amazing shipping, intake arrived in 2 days and only took 10 minutes to install. Already noticed improvement in low end torque and fuel consumption at city speeds. City fuel useage improved by 5 MPG. Could not be happier. Also sounds nice in the 4000+ RPM range.

I installed the CAI kit on my 2004 Nissan XTerra, with the non-supercharged 3.3 engine. It has always been a little underpowered, but this system really woke it up, producing very noticeable throttle response and a nice sound when stepping on the gas. Haven't measured the gas milleage to see if there is any improvement, but hey, it's an XTerra.....gas mileage is never going to be good. I highly recommend this product and autoanything.com!

My friends and I have cleverly nicknamed my Frontier "chewie". On account it sounds like a growling wookie under the hood at certain speeds. I love the mechanical howl the engine makes with this air system on it. Power seems to be about the same. Throttle response is a bit sharper, mileage per gallon, unnoticeable. If you love your Datsun like I do, you know the engine doesn't do much when you open the taps on that big 3.3; With the K&N it sure does sound like thunder from a wookie!
