I just recieved my intake and install was pretty simple, well worth the money i already see a difference in power and even gas mileage. The intake also looks great, i highly recommend auto anything and k&n typhoon intake.

I finally put it in my car, and it only took me about 20mns or so to take out my old one an and 45mns to install my new KN intake, It was def. worth the buy and I personally saw 4mpg increase, my engine ran cooler than normal, and the performance was a little gain, more response with 4000rpms and up. I recommend this Intake to any Mazda buyers. Thanks

I installed both the exhaust and cold air at the same time. There is a clear hp gain, although I can tell how much and the sound at full bore is as it should be. Perfect. I'm getting thumbs up and rock on signs from the tuner boys. I'm 65. I will sort out the the real performance when I get to the track in a couple of weeks for a track day. Although it doesn't mean much for function I like the design of the K and N intake. It looks like it fits as opposed to a bolt-on for many of the cold air systems. I'm happy and the AutoAnything process was great. There was a slight delay in the delivery of the K and N, but that had to do with the 70 feet of snow we had. I think I know what I'm doing. I do a lot of track days and have a supercharged etc Miata that I also use at the the track. And then there are the motorcycles. . . .

Received the package earlier than expected. Installation took the 90 minutes that was expected. Problems w/ the fire shield (had to trim back some of the tin flashing) and hose clamps (reused a stock clamp, and the large clamp to hold the filter was missing, so I used 2 smaller ones together). The immediate noticable change was in the new growl coming from under the hood! Performance-wise nothing to noticable; finally averaging 20mpg, and pickup is a little quicker. Great buy if you like the tuner sound of an engine.

Intake greatly helps throttle response and pickup in the low rpm range. Peak power kicks in close to redline but helps into second gear. Sound is a loud, intimidating growl low and a sharp scream under full throttle. Great product that can help you get that little extra bit of speed.

it was a breeze to install. only complaint is that one of the clamps they sent with it was too small, however you can use the old one from the stock intake. my engine has a great deep and aggressive sound to it now. there hasn't been any noticable increase in power. overall so far it has been an awesome intake.

I was very impressed with the Typhoon kit. If you want alittle more power with engine noise , you sure will not be disappointed with this kit. My gas mileage also improved from the regular K&N panel filter on hwy miles.

The enhanced performance is terrific, but the installation process and quality left a little to be desired. The pictures and descriptions for a couple of the steps in the installation process were undecipherable, one of the hose clamps provided was too small, and the heat shield does not align with the engine cover, making reinstallation of the cover difficult.
