Bought this intake in the red finish and it looks very nice under the hood. Installation took a little longer than expected but worth the time. It is carb legal, don't have to worry about smog. Noticed a little more power in the higher rpms and a deeper sound from the engine.

Wow. I could really feel the power increase. Launch was much smoother. You can hear the growl much more clearly outside than in the cab but that's okay. Highway onramps and passing is just easier. The engine feels more capable. However, I didn't realize the high water risk to the engine until my technician pointed it out to me. I live in Houston where urban street flooding is common on side streets and intersections. Since the intake is positioned closer to the road now, I have to be careful.

Real noticeable increase in HP. Also smoother acceleration not to mention the great improvement in sound once you open the throttle.

Installation was very easy and staightforward. Instructions with photos very detailed with basic tools used. Parts in the kit came complete and fit all connections easily. Performance difference was felt right away while driving especially on uphill driving and acceleration. I sure appreciate the option that was included whether the long version tubing or the short ram. I opted with the short ram for protection vs. water during the rainy season.

Took a while to install, mainly because the stock intake was giving problems. But at the end of the day it was well worth it. I feel some extra power and it sounds great.

Honda Accord EXVL6 never got better MPG. Quicker response on throttle. Deeper sound at 5000 RPM or higher. Money well spent for a new thrill. 80,000 miles on factory equipment should of done this sooner.
