Excellent purchase. My only regret is that I didn't install this sooner. For the price I don't think there's even a question if this is worth the money. The only thing I wish that would have been much more useful would have been if they attached color pictures with higher resolution. Even K&N's website had the same manual in PDF form with color in some parts, but all images were black and white, which made some parts of installation a little trickier to understand.

I have been looking at this product for sometime for my vehicle. After reader the positive reviews by other DIY'S this looked like an item that was well engineered both in performance and the installation process. Instructions fairly clear, engine response appears improved. To soon to comment on any fuel mileage improvement. Sound under acceleration gives it a more performance attitude. Very happy with the purchase.

When i purchased the K&N i was just trying to gain a little more hp. Once installed it made a big difference in sound. I did not expect the K&N to make my car sound so great. Id highly reccommend anyone to buy this intake for their car.

I just put this in my Mazda 6. Wow instant and noticeable hp gains! Not to mention the awesome noise that it makes. I actually didnt even listen to the radio for the first week. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I got the box and had it installed in about 1-2 hours It had all the supplies and the instruction were ok (black and white) pictures. After I had it installed and test drove it. WOW it was night and day the preformance is amazing and the added sound is a plus.

Product came in two days. Installation is a piece of cake once you get the ball rolling. Instant performance!!! Definitely adds horsepower to those of you who have a lead foot. Adds beauty under the hood- get rid of all that hindering plastic now! Great product- Great price!

I purchased this air intake a few weeks ago, and I absolutely love it! I have it configured as a short ram presently, and I have no plans to do the full install. I really like that I have the option to install the additional pipe at a later time, though! As for the sound, it gives my Mazda 6S tons of gruff! I must admit, I haven't had my stereo turned on for the past few weeks since the sound of my car is so appealing. Dead serious! You can definitely notice more pep while driving, and contrary to some claims, I've yet to get a "check engine light" error! I should also mention that the biggest reason I purchased this air intake is that I knew I wanted a short ram, and this is the ONLY ONE that will fit my car; the only other one that comes close is the AEM short ram, but I spoke to AEM directly, and they confirmed that their short ram intake will NOT work with a manual transmission '03 Mazda 6S. Regardless, I'm glad that I purchased the K&N intake, and I'm sure I would've missed out had I purchased anything else! The only complaint I have is that the included directions were a little unclear. They include step-by-step pictures, but the actual printing quality is pretty low. I'd recommend downloading the .pdf installation instructions for your car directly from the K&N website.
