I was having troubles with my initial factory air intake system before I reviewed and purchased the K & N intake system. After I read great reviews, I compared this part to other websites and AutoAnything had the cheapest price on the market with their 20% Presidents' Day discount. I contacted my mechanic and he installed the part for me with relatively ease. I could have done it myself, however I didn't have the time. I noticed a smoother drive already. Great product

This intake was perfect, exactly what you look for in performance. Everything fit perfectly and got here in no time at all. It definitely opens up the air flow for the engine, unlike that restrictive air box. Looks beautiful in my engine bay! I can really hear the differences when I accelerate, also a better throttle response . If you love K&N, this is for you!

We put this K&N air intake system in my sons 05 Alitam SL 2.5L and he loves it. It gives the car more Horse Power and a beefier sound. He actually installed it himself and it took him less than an hour. He went with short ram style because it is winter here in New England and don't need the filter hanging down near the wheel well. Overall I would recommend it to our friends and anyone looking to for HP in their Altima. Purchase it from Autoanything.com and look for discounts or coupon + free S&H

Very easy to install. No mechanics background. I'm a 20 year old who just likes cars. Put this in within two hours or so. Definite difference in sound with a slight increase in performance.

I've had this intake running for about two weeks on my Altima in short ram configuration and it is fantastic. I noticed an immediate improvement in fuel economy and in intake noise. For normal driving its not louder than stock but at WOL it sound awesome. The amount of noise doubles when the secondary intake runners open at 5000 rpm. I'm really enjoying it.

After completely installing and checking the function of my Typhoon intake I took it on a quick road test. All I can say is when I heard my 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5 chirp when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear a smile came to my face like a little boy on X-mas morning. I was really impressed with the horsepower my vehicle gained from this product. The sound that comes from the Typhoon intake once you give it some gas is beautiful. Great job guys. I did have a small issue when attempting to install my intake though. I received the wrong size lock nuts for the mounting brackets and had to drop everything and drive down to the local Pep Boys auto parts shop. Basically, someone didn't pack the right items in the box, sorry guy there was a lack of attention to details but excellent product like I said earlier.
