This thing is Great! If you own a Civic, and want better pick up, gas mileage, and SOUND, I recommend this intake. Very easy to install.

I recently installed the K&N Typhoon cold air intake on my 2002 Honda Civic Ex 1.7 VTECH engine and it works as advertised. Always wanted one before but had bad luck with eBay motors on several purchases. Auto Anything now is my go to shopping center for car goodies. It arrived quickly in perfect shape. Instructions seemed a bit intimidating at first, but very specific and easy once started. Grabbed tools need and can DIY in about 45 minutes. Had to reprogram radio but had antitheft code handy and was advised of possibility. Vehicle fired up perfectly and its nearly stock quiet at idle. Open her up now and she growls. Step on the throttle at the sweet spot of about 3k RPM and it really comes to life. I use my daily driver as a delivery vehicle at night and it's made a big difference. Used to get about 280 miles out of a tank of gas and am consistently getting around 300 now. Formula as follows: Extra horsepower + better MPG = More smiles per gallon. It's hard to not floor it sometimes. I grin from the rush of intercity stop light takeoffs. Car can now do 100 MPH before shifting into 4th when it's safe enough for getting on the freeway. Hadn't topped it out yet but I feel the need for speed and predict a ticket in the future.

Its the first mod I've done and I like it a lot! Pretty easy to install too, the instructions are a little veige but with a little common sense its pretty easy took 30 mins. It gave me more hp and Mabe 1mpg more, the only thing is the sound it's pretty loud (the intake sucking in the air like a whistle)but gives yur car engin a more aggressive sound. I love the engin sound and the hp gain.

Installation took all of 20 minutes. Enhanced sound on acceleration. Really cleaned up the look of the engine compartment. Gotta love K&N.

A must have for any engine. It removes all the clutter of the stock intake and keeps it clean and simple. My only complain (if you want to call it that) is that the screw to hold down the intake broke when I tightened it (didn't tighten it THAT much). I would just recommend to be careful. That said, this is very easy to install (took me 20 min). You can instantly hear this thing sucking air when opening the hood and you will be able to feel it when you hit the pedal. Great product!

After my brain dead son installed the K&N on his Honda Civic and changed the oil to Amsoil with the e filter it got better gas mileage about 20-25% and more power best products going

Installation was quick and easy. Car sounds throatier and deeper at high rpms and seems more responsive. Passing on the highway is no longer embarrassingly slow. Well worth the money.

This is my second (replacement) intake for this car. The first K&N intake broke after 3 years of use. I hope this next system lasts longer than the first - especially since they're somewhat expensive!
