Sounds nice and it sounds like a muffler but then when you get on it makes a swish sound stalling wasn't bad didn't notice any increase in horsepower or gas mileage but happy overall

I feel like my 2004 Camry is now a race car with boosted MPG. I used to go 433 miles until I ran out of gas, and usually had gone 200 miles right before I hit half-a-tank of gas. Now I go about 250 miles at half-a-tank. What a difference! Acceleration has increased as well as power. I can go from 60 to 70 in less than 3 seconds now. 0-60 increased from about 7 seconds to about 5. This definitely helped alot with power. Installation can be a bit tricky but is overall pretty easy to put in. Just make sure you have an extender for the rachet; you can hit some tight spots with certain bolts. Overall, 5/5 stars from me. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to boost power, MPG, and to have something sporty looking under the hood. ;)

I installed the Typhoon Intake on my car to get that little release of power. I installed a TRD exhaust with the Typhoon Intake which let my car breath. With both I have Great and instant power. When reviving up my engine you can hear the intake sucking in air for that extra boost of power over the exhaust. I'm also redoing the full suspension with lowering springs [TRD] and Cusco Parts. Still thinking about a Turbo.

Installed w/out a hitch on on girlfriends '02 corolla due to $ 300+ price of the factory airbox which has mounted to it a $300+ emissions part which is easily broken by careless mechanics. Out of the box quality i have never heretofore seen (silicone rubber!). girlfriend says it is not as good on hills and cant tell if its got more 'pep'. i say its quiet until you 'get on it', then a cool growl. hills seemed to be prob on hwy.

As soon as my friend finished installing the intake and said "Start it up." I was blown away by the sound! When I revved the engine it made that deep swoosh sound and deep growl...this made me smile with excitement..the only thing missing now is the whistle of a Turbo's blow-off valve. Then we took it on the road..I could feel a big increase in torque! and acceleration! It was like having a new car...and the whole time I kept saying..."This is a fing Camry! and it sounds this good!? Wow!

Good directions to install. Took me about 2 hours due to being nitpicky about cleaning throttle body and under old air cleaner prior to install. After install I started the engine and everything sounded the same. I took the car for a drive and pulled away slowly. Still the same quiet sound. What is nice is the sweet sound of performance when you put your foot into it. Great product.
