It was a big mistake installing this air intake system on my 2006 pontiac solstice. After installation the engine light came on and stayed on. Also the car does not shift correctly. The car shifts hard (automatic trans.) going up thru the gears and does not down shift correctly either. While coasting up to a stoplight the trans downshifts very hard down thru the gears before stoping. I will be removing this air intake system from my car as soon as I can fit the time in my schedule and I will return it for a refund.

I am not a mechanic, but this was very easy to install. The insructions were easy to follow. It looks and sounds terrific. It feels like it adds a lot lot more horsepower than it does. The accelleration is amazing and the higher the rpms go the better the car sounds. Every car should have one of these

Installation was easy, only one minor issue. The PCV Vent line to the intake that was provided was too long, and I had to trim it down, but thats minor. All hardware was provided and only needed basic hand tools. I'm seeing ~2mpg better on the trip computer, a bit more midrange in the butt dyno, and a nice deep grunt from the crappy ecotec 4cyl.
