my biggest issue was the instruction that K&M provided. 1. the BOM could use a revision showing a 1to1 picture of each part so you can lay the parts out and match up with picture & Qty. 2. DWG. was too small & made it difficult to understand. 3. I lost how many times I had to flip the pages back and forth to figure out the instructions and hardware. I would say it took me an additional 45 min. because of the sub par instructions. 4. The 90° air intake blocks the power steering refill cap.

The kit for my vehicle did not fit well at all. I have been in the automotive parts & service industry my whole life. I have never seen worse instructions. They state several times to use bolts included in the hardware, no indication which bolt size or type. My emission hose in the kit is about three times the diameter of the one on my vehicle. Still trying to resolve that. The instructions didn't even include my model and which air intake it should use, they included a choice of two.

I've always had K&N & have always thought highly of them but on this intake & the gaps & the intake does not make a tight seal where the tube goes threw plate!

One of the clearest set of instructions I've ever seen. Took me, w minimal help from my husband when not sure if I was going to break something if I just used brute force on a couple of areas, about 2 hours total going at a leisurely pace. On the test drive I could tell it added just enough on take off to combat the slight turbo lag. Highly recommend!

The horrible instructions made this take twice as long as it should have. They don't label any of the parts in the box and have small grainy illustrations. Also They have you cut a rubber hose but make sure you cut it right otherwise your SOL. For close to $300 the amount of self assembly is ridiculous. Once it's in it works fine, notice an increase in sound and a small boost once the turbo spools

The air intake system is not too loud under wot and I can tell a difference in acceleration and early indication shows an increase in fuel economy. I did have some turbo lag, but I later installed a Magnaflow catback system and that lag went away. I can recommend this product.
