I gotta say, it was kind of a pain to install because one of the mounting bolts is hard to get to with a wrench. The instructions are easy to follow. Once I installed the air intake I definitely liked a deeper sound when accelerating. It's not going to make your car faster but it's definitely more responsive with acceleration. As long as you don't accelerate too much, it'll improve your mileage a little bit. I recommend getting the K&N RX-4990DR Air Filter Wrap so you don't get the engine error.

Overall nice intake , over priced and installation was kinda a pain but looks and sounds nice ! Doesn't feel like any gain in HP but does smooth things out a bit

The k&n typhoon intake i ordered and installed on my vehicle is a very nice piece. Installation was a bit tricky due to the design of my vehicle. I am very pleased with the high quality appearance and feel of the parts.

I have used a high performance filter from K&N before on a much older vehicle, and just as before, K&N delivers on their promise of increased power and efficiency. I installed the system just before a road trip, and recorded just over a 10% increase in fuel economy as well as a quicker throttle response. Install took me 2.5 hours because I read directions like 4 times before doing anything.

This was the first ever mod I have installed on my first ever car. Being a total newbie with working on cars I had a hard time installing this thing. The instructions were adequate but I just didn't really know what I was doing at first. Heat shield installation was horrible but I will tell you that after all is said and done, this is one of the best mods you can do on your car. The intake sounds great and there seems to be a noticeable increase in torque and power especially mid-rpms. Overall, a very good purchase.
