Buying this part was well worth the money and added noticeable gains in acceleration and overall performance. The only aspect that wasn't pleasant was the installation, which was complicated due the awkward location of the turbo inlet hose clamp, which made removing the factory intake hose a nightmare. Besides that, this K&N gives my 2013 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T new life! Highly reccommend if you want to increase horsepower and improve the efficiency of your engine.

This is exactly what my sonata needed. Along with some other mods this intake though pricey made a huge difference. Installation is a bit rough thanks to Hyundai more than K&N but we'll worth it!

Pros: Fairly easy install with detailed directions. It sounds amazing! You can really hear the turbo spool Throttle response seems a bit better but nothing dramatic (it's only an intake) looks very nice, the coatings helps with heat. Cons: A bit pricey for what you get, again, it's just an intake, so I suggest buying it when there's a sale as I did. The heat shield...at least for my car, it's too tall and presents problems when closing. Doesn't dent but could be shorter

An amazing product as always from k&n, can definitely feel more pull on the turbo then before, has a great look, installation was a pain took about an hour for everything, and lots of fun!

I've installed an air intake on every vehicle I've owned and this was by far the hardest install. The hardest part was getting to the turbo and trying to tighten the provided clamps. Then when I installed the heat shield it was to tall and dented the hood of my car so I had to trim down the heat shield. When the install was finally, I was overall satisfied with it. Good gains in power and slight mpg gains. It sounds awesome too and really wakes up the turbo.
