K&N for our Toyota "86" (Scion FR-S)

Bought this K&N because of previous good K&N products and ease of installation. Instructions were good and installation was fun (despite the heat of summer) with my son. Sounds great at high revs.

Great Air Intake!

This thing is amazing! The primary purpose was to increase the amount of airflow into my engine, this thing produces at max 10psi into my engine! It also improved my gas milage, and my ODB reader was giving me an average of 27 city, which is really good!

K&N is the only brand of cold-air intake I trust

I learned a couple cars back not to purchase a less expensive intake. I tried two different brands other than K&N that didn't fit EVEN CLOSE in the vehicle it was designed for. After two returns, I payed a little extra money for the K&N that fit like a glove and looked awesome! When I traded my '13 FRS for a '15, FRS R-1, my first project was the K&N Typhoon intake. Easy to install - and I'm NOT mechanically inclined. K&N will always be my go-to brand for any vehicle I purchase!

Own a brand new Subaru BRZ. Bought the Typhoon system to open up the nostrils on the engine and let it breathe. Great look under the hood. Definitely improved throttle response. I saw some of the other systems but I trust K&N. Million mile warranty, can't beat that! I had a shop install mine Typhoon system and they were done in less than an hour. All I can say is I am a believer! 2013 Breezy!

K&N CAI for BRZ

The K&N air intake system changes the sound of the engine at higher speeds and loads and is louder. Not sure I feel any extra power but I think I see better fuel economy. Was easy to install. The inlet opening does not fit the stock opening in the body very well. I suspect that a lot of hot air from the engine compartment enters the filter there as well as at the hood interface. It looks good but the aluminum intake pipe would look better polished instead of painted.

The BRZ is a pretty quiet car but with this it makes it sound a lot meaner. It gives it a nice deep growl. Overall the product was quick and easy to install, looks and sounds great and meets all my expectations.

awesome product!

Everything from the throaty sound to the extra horsepower makes it definitely worth it.
