Solid build as expected from K&N. Pieces were good quality and fit pretty easily with no modification needed. Directions could have been a little clearer as to what bolt/washer stack up was required for which location, but that is minor. Sound is meatier which I like, HP feels higher but that may just be me wanting to feel more, and haven't evaluated MPG. Only downside for me was the $. I have the 3.5L V6 engine in my Altima. This $300 K&N was my only option. Overall, I like the component a lot.

Installation guide is awful. The install steps were vague and install diagram was inaccurate. Once I called K&N customer service about bracket installation it was a smooth install. Noticable difference in power.

Installed this a few days before a long road trip and noticed a slight increase in gas mileage, averaged 33.5 mpg @ 70mph. Makes for more noticeable intake sound when you stand on the gas pedal, but nothing too obnoxious. Plan is to pair this with lightweight wheels and some custom exhaust work for maximum efficiency/mileage so this is a big part of it. Not a huge fan of the cost and the instructions were vague at some points but satisfied overall.

Installed this on my brother's Altima. Took me around an hour. Instructions are fairly straightforward. No special automotive knowledge is necessary, you just need to know how to use basic tools. He said he can hear the air being sucked into the engine now.

The intake is an awesome add on to any vehicle. The only problem adding an intake to the infiniti is the infiniti has such a big noise baffle under the hood to quiet down the intake noise, that when you remove it and add the k&n. You hear the intake alot. Under normal driving lower rpm you will not hear it but off the line or under any acceleration you will hear it alot. It may be to much for a luxury vehicle like the infIniti
