After the easy/quick installation I took it for a test drive. Instantly I noticed a difference. From throttle response, to acceleration, to the excellent sound of actually hearing my engine. I have also noticed a large difference in my gas mileage. This was definitely a wise investment into my vehicle. I couldn't live without it now.

This is the first modification I do on any vehicle I buy. The K&N is always a good investment for me. I have one on this truck, my 07 Vette and my 95 Camaro. They increase response throughout the range, you feel the increase in torque and increase gas mileage from 1-2 mpg dependent on how I drive.

This unit was very easy to install. K&N included everything that was necessary. I like the fact I did not have to make any modifications that I can not change back to factory if I want to. The Sequoia definitely breathes better now. You can here the difference when accelerating, there is a definitely throaty sound. Very similar to the sound a four-barrel carb made on a pre-emissions era V8. I have not had a chance to check the mileage yet, but it seems to be making a difference.

I'd been intending to do a cold air intake since I got my truck and I'm glad I finally made the purchase. I think what convinced me was that the K & N 63 Series was cheaper than the competitor's system which was on sale and it was designed specifically for my truck. The step-by-step instructions were great (pictures could have been a little bigger and had more arrows to point out specific parts and fasteners) and the installation went smoothly. Everything fit exactly as it was supposed to.

Air charger intake, true duels, and a chip make a 4.7 tundra a muscle truck that gets 22 mpg IF you can keep your foot out of it. Improved performance, improved MPG, and fun to drive!
