K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit Part #63-3064-1 Customer Reviews

Easy to install. Was missing 1 support bracket for hose. Did help with acceleration and a little power boost.Do believe it is a little pricey for what you get. Intake hose could have been made of polished aluminum instead of hard plastic. Have not had the unit installed long enough to evaluate milage.

Overall this was a great purchase. The only thing I wish could be improved is that it came with extra heat shield edge trim that way you could wrap the circle in the middle with it as well. It seems from all the photos I see from other K and N intakes is that the heat shield holds the air filter by using screws to be connected. In this product it just kinda rests on the rim of the inner circle allowing it to move around and rattle sometimes when the engine is running.

In my Chevy Colorado 2.9LI was averaging 190-200 on a half tank of gas, now I am averaging 210-225 depending where I am driving. Throttle responce for sure increased. Have one issue, followed the directions to a T, but have 3 washers left over, maybe just extras? Would buy again for sure!

easy to install, looks good, makes more power when towing my boat trailer but in 5th gear it seems likt running out of gas or vapor lock. will run a full tank of gas through it to see if I still have the problem, if so calling k&n or AutoAnything. Other wise like it

I have only had the kit installed for about a week, so It will hard to give a realistic review. However so far I like the kit a lot! As of yet, I have not noticed huge gains in hp, but as I said it has only been installed for about a week. The kit is realitively simple to install with a few hand tools and most people should be able to install this kit on a Saturday afternoon.

I installed this on my 08 Isuzu I-290 extended cab, it took about an hour to do. I pre-assembled several parts prior to the installation. The directions are very clear and it fit into my vehicle perfectly. I got this air filter to hopefully increase my gas millage. My only complaint is that the plastic intake tube to me looks cheap, maybe the polished one would look better? All in all a great product.

I bought the K&N for my '09 Chevy Colorado. It installed in about a half-hour with no problems. It looks great in the engine bay, and I can tell a difference in the low-end throttle response. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone!
