K&N is #1 in the industry, and after installing this unit I can see why, everything fit well, good instructions, easy to install. Looks great, about 30 minutes total time.

Everything went as expected. One hose clamp was too small so I used the stock one. It has what I would describe as a "tech" sound to it. You can hear the turbos through it. Pretty cool actually. I have the heart throb exhaust as well. Good combo.

I have had 3 other K&N systems on other vehicles and always liked them. I am not impressed by this one. I was surprised by the lack of quality that the other systems had. Some of the clamps included were incorrect size so I had to take them off the factory pipe and use them here. The intake pipe could stand to be longer so there is more area to clamp to. Also, and this in not a system problem but, the throaty sound these normally produce is missing on this motor.

I have used K&N in the past and it seems like the product continues to get better. The install was very simple, the directions easy to follow and it is the rare example of after market product being better than OE.

Looking for either improved mileage or less turbo lag on my 2013 F150 ecoboost. Install was easy and took about an house - I do recommend the Youtube video to make sure you get everything in the right spot. Only issue I had was that the hose clamps that attach the K&N tube to the truck were too short. I wound up using the stock hose clamp. After two weeks I can say I feel a slight improvement in throttle response. MGP is 16.0 vs. 16.1 before. You hear sucking under throttle, but it's not bad.

After reading the reviews I decided to buy and install it myself. When I removed the existing air filter with ease I thought how hard could this really be. Well after dry fitting all the pieces I cut the rubber gaskets to size and began the install. I was unable to secure the heat box withe the rubber gasket attached. After an hour of trying I decided to cut the gasket and custom fit it. Not what I had expected.

Gas mpg went down from 16.4mpg city to 14.9mpg city. Down from 21.5mpg highway to 20.5mpg highway. Took it off after and sent it back! I did my usual route to work and back (27 miles)setting the cruise the same before and after. At first autoanything.com gave me a hard time returning it but they finally let me get my money back!
