I put it in and didn't really notice anything. My mechanic friend said it sounds like it did though. I just ordered Volant CAI maybe that will wake it up. Looks nice but I don't think any significant gains.

Awesome Product not too loud (good because otherwise it gets annoying) , but is audible so you can show off. Surprisingly huge increase in throttle RESPONSE. RPM's jump much quicker and actually gained 2-4 MPG in the city depending on how conservative OR lead-footed i drive. I didn't have a huge expectation for the product but it blew me away. I also have a monster cold air intake on my Durango, and with the two I can actually burn tires and do donuts; something i could never do before (and that is with stock rims and tires, that means i can still break loose with a TON of rubber/traction on the wide wheels)

The unit fits well, works well and is of a high quality of fabrication...However, on my 3.9L V-6 Dakota, the added height pushed the air cleaner "hood"/ air intake adapter on the throttle body into the drip lip on the firewall at the back of the hood. Getting the air filtration system connected was difficult and I expect the engine vibration will cause the firewall lip to saw thru the plastic throttle body "cap" soon. On a V-8 there should be no problem.
