The AEM CAI is a great aftermarket part for performance cars (better air induction and no oiling of the filter). The instructions for install were very clear and it installed without too much trouble. If installing this or a similar intake on your car be sure to confirm if you will need to change the ECU tune so that the car runs properly. The extra performance and incredible induction sound is well worth it!

Was a little difficult to get to the awkward bolts to remove the stock system, and to get the aem to fit the right way was fustrating, but after the install was complete being able to hear the air being sucked in sounds awesome, I bought this along with a cobb accessport and it was worth every penny.

I've never done one of the these but the instructions are very clear. Make sure you have 10mm wrench or socket-bit because some of these nuts are very hard to reach. Took me 90-120 mins to do. The long part was just getting things to unscrew with lack of space. But once installed it looked real nice. I did not hear it much when I first drove but after some warming up and about 100 miles it sounded awesomr. Deff a power and torque booster you can feel it. SUPER fast shipping too. 2 days.

Great product. Exactly what I was looking for. Stage 2+ Cobb programming with this filter is giving me the boost pressure, and a/f readings I like.

I am by no means mechanically inclined but I found the installation of this product very easy. Takes about 1 hour and is definately worth the time and price. Running this on a 2012 WRX, improved throtle response, slight noticable HP gain, and excellent engine noise. Love hearing the intake inhail when the turbo starts to spool up. Great product, must have for an automotive enthusiast.

This intake was relatively easy to install (08 STi). The instructions could have been a bit more clear because they don't always tell which nuts to tighten. I had to take out the whole system when I was almost done because a gromet hadn't been secured properly. It's a tight fit to get into position and you have to move it around quite a bit. Careful not to damage the filter element in the process. I would also get the water pre-filter element and put it on first if I had to do it again. I didn't, so I'll just wait until I have to clean it in 20k miles in order to do that. It's also oil-free so you don't have to worry about cleaning it every 5k miles like some other brands. Also the heat shield helps keep the intake air relatively cooler than the engine bay. Don't forget that you need to use a Cobb AP map for the AEM intake if your ECU is re-flashed. Great product, performs very well. Love the sound.
