4-5 horsepower increase, slight increase in torque, and about 2 mpg increase in fuel economy. After I ordered and was waiting for it to arrive, I was sitting dreading it wouldn't make any difference in sound. Once I got it installed, which only took about 45 minutes, I started the car up and no sound change. I pulled out of my driveway, put my foot on the gas, and there it was, the sound I wanted. Great buy! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Just like many others I was skeptical on spending $150 on an intake. I installed the intake in 30 minutes, all stickers and directions included. I took it for a test drive and WOW. It kicks in at about 3000 RPM's and sounds mean. Put the pedal to the floor and you might Sh!t your pants. Great throttle response, pull and horsepower. Don't know much about my MPG because I always have my gas pedal to the floor. Definitely Recommend

Immediate increase in pickup, tone, and GAS MILEAGE!!! I was skeptical at first, but now I am a believer. I gained 2mpg, better sound, very easy to install. Totally satisfied!!!!

I previously had a generic intake system sold through Reilley Auto Parts; and I had purchased two different units. On the first unit, the tab that attached the unit to shock tower broke off due to a poor weld; and the second one comprised of four sections which kept coming apart despite having to retightening the clamps every one hundred miles and I must have paid about $100 for both. As soon as I received the AEM unit I could easily feel the difference in weight as AEM uses a stronger gauge steel tubing and since installing it one month ago, the entire unit still remains as solid as well as the factory air box it replaced. The extra cost was well worth it.

I absolutely love it. it was a easy DIY project i worked on. I personally think there is noticeable gains from mid to high RPM's. The sound when VTEC kicks in is addicting! since i installed it i actually lost some MPG's due to my heavy foot action on highways and stoplights. When normal driving it sounds just like the stock intake and you can game a MPG or 2. But what can i say, its an addictive mod that you will love! worth it and definitely the cheapest price around i could find.

I just got the short ram intake about a week ago, the price on autoanything was good enough for me so I opted for overnight delivery. Which turned out great because I got to enjoy it the next day. It's awesome around 4000 RPM it howls like a beast, it inspired me to order a magnaflow cat-back to have in combination, I love my setup and would strongly recommend AEM, I am noticing exceptional throttle response... on the highway I jump from 60-90 like nothing now,and Fuel Economy is supposedly better but not when I'm laying on the throttle every chance I get.
