Looks great in my engine bay and sounds even better when I'm on it (especially when vtec kicks in) I do feel a slight performance increase although I also have headers and exhaust so it probably did more. All and all I love it.

Even though my intake was shipped bent, I managed to bang it out a little bit and make it work. Shipping was very fast, and the intake is must have if you are searching for an intake. It is instant power once u put it in, and when I press the gas, the car just sounds mean. Hopefully next time my item ordered from here won't be damaged, but still great service. I personally gurantee getting this intake.

I replaced the JDM Type S intake on my 1997 Prelude with the AEM V2 mainly because I wanted a different look and sound. The dyno comparisons of the 2 intakes showed them to be very close performance-wise so I really wasn't expecting much and after initial installation, I got what I expected. The sound was nice, for sure - not much different during normal driving but when I hit VTEC it sounds like an afterburner kicks in! But, after a few days, the OBDII seemed to became acclimated to the new, larger volume of air and now I feel a nice kick at the top end. I don't seem to have lost any torque, either. My other engine mods are a Mugen header, Random Technologies hi-flow cat, Thermal R&D Stealth exhaust and AEM Under drive pulleys - this combo works! I'm very happy with it :-) Installation was pretty easy except for removal of the intake resonator. That was a bit tricky and resulted in some skinned knuckles but all-in-all, it wasn't too bad.

First the price was excellent. Thank you Autoanything Second, this is the first aftermarket product I have purchased for my Prelude SH. When I say I can definitely feel a power increase due to this system I mean it. I accelerate alot quicker and just the sound of the intake when I hit V-Tec is rediculous. It's definitely the most aggressive intake I have ever purchased. And third, the color of the intake sytem matched my car perfectly. I am just happy I found it at the price I did while searching theu AutoAnything.com.

On a 97 prelude. stock with this exception. good fit and finish after you get the mount set up figured out. if you think you have it right, just a couple more positions to make sure that the fit is correct. not as much of a power increse on the "seat of the pants dyno". had an AEM cold air set up on my 97 integra gsr and it felt better than this. my friend had this V2 on his LS integra and it made power that you could feel just riding in it. I live in CO. so I do like that the filter is not down in the front clip like a true cold air. over all agood part just a little high priced for "gains" you get from the prelude.
