I had some fit issues, but the manufacturer was helpful, AEM was bought out by K&N, same warehouse but still two companies, filter is not oiled, feels like an additional 25 HP! Probably is not, but feels like it for the following: 1) gives +5 to +10HP; 2) more air flow so better throttle response; 3) allows me to control shift points better with the automatic transmission; 4)higher RPM's into the VTEC power-band

I recently bought the V2 Intake for my 2003 Honda Civic EX CP. It sounds a lot better now, when accelerating at high RPMS I can feel more horsepower than before. The factory box filter intake is in the garbage now. It wasn't that hard to install it, it took about a little over an hour but it looks great and runs nice. There is a more of a roaring sound now.

I would go no where else but AEM for intakes. The AEM V2 is out of the world. I installed this part on stock my civic and the horsepower and torque increase are very noticeable. The directions where good, however left you hanging on a step reconnecting the negative terminal at the bottom. The over all install time list for one hour if you never done this set aside two! This system even beats the other cold air intakes including AEM first generation CAI.
