I have had my intake for about 2 weeks. It is truly phenomal! The increase in horsepower is more than I expected. The unit is quiet during normal driving, but when you punch it, it will "growl" at you and will reward you with a whole lot of acceleration. Just "stick it and steer and hang on!" I had it installed by Wolf's Foreign Car Service here in San Diego. It took about 20 minutes.

Installation could have been a breeze have i not ran to an auto buy a longer clamp. The one that came from the manufacturer to hold the air filter is a shy short and it took me a couple of minutes to force the filter into the assembly. It is just too tight. Once installed, it really looked great. Nice growl around 4k rpm.

Good instructions although lacking regarding removal of several other bolts to allow extrication of the factory air box. One also needs seveal other tools includin 10 and 12mm sockets. Easy fit after removal and great finish. Immediate and noticable improvement in throttle responseand overall performance. Well worth the money. Sounds awesome and looks better. 2006 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE 2.4L

Everything worked well, except on support on fit install, the instructions needed additional details, especially since the design had changed since printing. The website had email contact info only, but I never got a response. I was able to track down a factory telephone number and once I had that, it was a quick discussion with a technician to confirm installation. The installation was really easy otherwise. The improvement on performance is significant and very noticeable, can't believe I waited this long to do it. I have had no error messages or other problems, just a lot more acceleration at 4,000 rpm and above. I haven't checked out top speed yet, but I have a feeling I gained 10mph or more from the performance at 90 to 100 mph. 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, 2.4L Automatic
