The installation was surprisingly simple for not being mechanically inclined. I feel like putting in a turbocharger and intercooler now lol. As far as performance goes I don't know but it sounds more like a car, not to mention it looks great

I honestly don't know anything about Injen and originally purchased the K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake System for my 2015 Mazda 6. After a few days, once it was ready to ship, I was notified that it couldn't be shipped to CA?! Let's just say, I'm happy that this happened. This stupid $240 upgrade has made my car a COMPLETELY different animal. The growl it makes is deep and mean - and I hardly even turn my stereo on anymore bc I'd rather listen to the way my engine growls. Great purchase!!

I've had the injen intake on the car for a couple of tanks of gas and had an increase in gas millage from the stock intake. I was getting an average of 31+ in mostly highway commuting. The 1st tank after the install got 33mpg. This last tank today got 34.58mpg. I've used the same brand gas since the car was new and the commute is either 57 miles or 7 miles depending on which office I work. I had to get on it a few times to hear the growl of the open intake and I believe the car is a bit faster.

The engine sounds great with the new intake. Pretty straight forward to install, not sure if I notice a major performance upgrade, though.

I can feel the Engine is breathing better and revving higher and faster than before. Not sure about the Fuel improvement yet. Not much louder than before. Maybe the filter is now hidden behind the bumper cover and far away from Engine compartment. It took me a little longer to install. Because you will need to raise the car. Remove some of the wheelwell clip and cover and under chassis cover. So that you can put the filter there. Total installation took about 60-70 minutes.

This intake is amazing. Noticeable power increase and great sound at full throttle. Quiet when just cruising. Fast shipping and the instructions were a breeze to follow and install. Took about an hour from start to finish.

This is the only CAI on the market right now for the 2014 MAZDA 6, Injen took a year to develop this model and it is worth it. The car is still quiet and even at take off your only likely to hear the intake at freeway speeds. This intake is not loud at all. For MPG gains I get an AVG of 5mpg gained on freeway, and 32 Combined now which is a gain of 2MPG. Overall range is 460-475 tank now.
