It was fairly easy to install, with the only exception being when you mount the air filter box you need to get it pushed as close to the front of the vehicle as possible so that the tubes can lineup. Other than that I can tell a difference at the higher rpm's in the vehicles performance. As for gas mileage I am not sure yet though I would hope I've gained at least a mile or two per gallon. Overall I am very happy with this air filter and the quality is terrific.

I have owned two K&N FIPK Kits and neither of them are as quiet as this kit! I am pleased with the appearance and fit of this system! I have noticed an increase in fuel milage about a 1 mpg. The jury is still out on durability for the long haul! I would recommend this product over the K&N for two reasons, the quality of the filter and the price. The S&B filter looks thicker than the K&N. Which I believe supports their claim of better filtration.

It's my first CAI so I dont have anything to compare it to. I can say that I have not seen a real increase in MPG but it has only been a week. I do like the sound coming from th engine especialy in passing gear. It was super easy in to install so let's see how it holds up over time.

Made a nice increase and the unit is well made. Way to many hose clamps for my taste. Made a nice difference in power but it is quite a bit louder then the stock box. At certain RPM the drone is hideous and makes you want to back off the gas to avoid the noise. Unit is well made and good looking though.

After doing some research I decided to go with the S&B CAI. It was very easy to put in and looks great. I liked the quality and fit. I would recommend the S&B CAI over others that cost more. Chris

I bought this intake from autoanything.com and installed it in no time. This intake gets an A+ in everything and performs just as good as some of the other higher priced intakes while looking even better. Now my engine compartment looks like it should have from the factory! I've got this intake on with a Banks Monster exhaust and the combo really makes the truck sound great! I liked this intake so much that I ordered another one for my '09 Mustang GT just a couple days afterwards. Don't wait any longer.... BUY IT NOW!

Directions were very clear and easy to follow. Components are of high quality. Haven't had much run time with the intake installed, but gas mileage and power seem to have increased. The truck is definitely more responsive. The intake add no noise to the interior of the truck and looks good, especially with the clear poly cover for the filter.
