I have had K&N systems in my previous 3 Tahoes and I can say the quality of the S&B is as good or better and even aesthetically more pleasing. The major difference is the custom enclosed airbox with the clear cover which beats K&N's cheesy metal wall with rubber lining. The construction is superb and the entire unit looked like OEM equipment that was built for my vehicle. The color instructions were outstanding and made installation a cinch. Throttle response was felt immediately right off the line and the deep roar can be heard at higher RPMs. Haven't gauged mmileage improvement but the idea of the engine breathing more efficiently is well worth the money. I'm very satisfied with this product and highly recommend S&B for all vehicles.

I wound up purchasing the Cold Air intake because many auto enthusiasts confirmed I might get better gas mileage, and a bit more horsepower on my 2008 Chevy Avalanche. The factory intake was much larger than the SB, and it seemed like air had to "whirl around" a much more involved "inter winding" chamber than the direct air SB system. Installation was pretty easy and straight forward, simply followed the directions, took me an hour to install. You can hear the difference, but I'm also told if your looking for better gas mileage, don't overcompensate with a "lead foot". The only "gripe" I have is these systems are WAY over priced for some plastic, clamps, and a nice filter. Should be half the price!!

I installed the S&B Intake on my 07 Denali, right away I noticed a improvement in throttle response. The installation was very easy to understand,my 16 year old could have done it,not that I would let him.I have not had the system on long enough to check mileage, but my wife noticed the increased power as soon as she drove it.Overall,I am well pleased, and would highly recommend it.Good Job!!
