Fit great, and the cleanable filter will save me money in the future. Hopefully the fuel mileage claims hold true as well, if so this upgrade will pay for itself in no time. My truck has a lot of other Banks parts and they finally came out with an air box for the 7.3 so this should complement my other upgrades nicely and feed them more air. The installation is a bit more difficult than others I've done, but that's due to Ford's layout of the truck, not Banks.

I am happy with the looks and flow. The only issue was the Excursion has an extra electrical connection that did not clear the air box without modifying the mount that the connection hooks to. Looking at an F350 it did not have this issue. Instructions needed to but did not make note of this clearance issue which is unusual for Banks products.

Love the looks of this setup, makes the turbo louder but will definitely need to upgrade to a wicked wheel in my '00 7.3 because of the turbo surge. Overall I'm happy with it, just wish Mr. Gale banks would stop over charging for his stuff.

Install was fast and easy. It made quite a noticeable difference with performance, it allows the turbo to spool up much faster. Throttle response greatly improved. It looks good with a solid battery tray. The only downside is its a little pricey but I would say still worth the price.

I installed it about 10 days ago, the engine does seem to run easier, does have more power and the fuel economy did increase about 2 MPG.

Helped fuel mileage by 2 to 3 miles a gallon. Easy to install took about an hour. Performance gains were actually noticeable turbo spools out much better. The only down fall to the whole system is that it is loud. But it doesn't bother me I run heavy equipment anyway. It is well worth the noise a must have for a diesel owner.
