I pull 30 ft goosenecks on average of 5000 miles a week. 6.6 duramax 2003 chevy. before I added a chip and spectra cold air, I was getting 7.5 mph.loaded 15000 lbs thats figured at pump.(miles / gallons) not what computer projects.AFTER installing these two I am at 10.089 mpg. I pull 15000 lbs and thats what I get now.

This is a very good quality intake. A money saving option to a k&n. Only downside was the tube scratched very easy. Looks great. Adds power. Could tell the difference with my turbo spooling up faster with a very sexy sound. I would recommend to anyone. I'm running it on my 6.6 duramax.

I am very pleased with The Spectre Cold Air Intake. I immediately noticed improved throttle response as well as improved fuel economy. As far as I'm concerned, bang for the buck, this intake is an al around winner, hands down!

Overall the installation went pretty well and the directions were good. The factory drilled hole on the heat deflector had to be drilled in a different spot. There was no way the alluminum air tube was long enough to use in the hole provided. The appearance is excellent and the price was great. Didn't notice a great deal of differance from the factory air cleaner but time will tell. I improved the heat deflector that was sent by changing it to totally cut off any heat from the engine. The one provided will not make it a true cold air system. For the money though I am really happy with the product. It's cost is less then half of the competition.

Ordered it and received it in 2 days went out after work and installed it in under 30 minutes. I could notice the power increase. Haven't had a chance to check for an increase in fuel mileage. Very happy with my purchase.
