This is a well designed and built system. At the price you pay, it might actually pay for itself - before the vehicle is worn out!

Good value

Good value, easy installation, looks great. I don't see any reason to pay for a more expensive brand. Very satisfied.

I have a 1999 ford super duty v10. My stock intake had a mass airflow censor and a temperature censor but the spectre only had previsions for the mass air. I had to drill a hole and use a 3/8 hose and some good old jb weld to install my temp censor. Also my stock egr hose was too short so I had to search my garage for a 7/8 id hose and cut it up. Although I should not have had to make any mods at least they were easy and as soo. As I drove out of my driveway I felt a difference. My gas mileage also increased. I would definitely recommend this intake to anyone. I'm guessing I only had this trouble because the v10 isn't very popular.

I have a 2000 ford excursion with the v10 30k miles. Iinstalled the spectre cold air intake and so far works well. You can hear the air sucking in well but not overly annoying. Took the cat off, flowmaster 70series big block ii and flashpac chip. Gained great torque and horse power and went from 12.5mpg on highway to 19 to 21 if you keep you foot out of it. The intake will make exhaust alot louder so keep that in mind. Very easy to install and well worth the money

Excellent intake system....although the truck has been on the dyno....the added acceleration is impressive. Fuel mileage has increased by almost 2MPG. I would highly recommend this system to anyone. Great value added accessory. KUDOS to Spectre !!
