I have been looking for a thrifty way to get power out of my 4.3L V6 4x4. I installed the tower in just a few minutes and have enjoyed the added torque, horse power and mileage. The only thing that I feel the Taylor Cable people need to change, is the length of the front studs. If they where a half an inch longer, installers would be more comfortable with how far to install them, because the throttle cable bracket has to be mounted on the drivers side stud.

Ive noticed a slight gain in throttle response. Maybe I've noticed a slight Horsepower increase thru mid-range. Well at least it has better performance than before. Everyone speaks of a whistling sound, im a little worried. I have no whistling sound. I have an Air Box. But I don't hear any whistling like the others say and it's mounted properly tippled checked. I guess it's only some set-ups.

I havent really seen a difference in power or gas mileage from the Helix Power Tower. I can say it looks cool under the hood. I would seriously suggest reading the instructions, throwing them away and going at it using common sense and mechanical ability. I was disapointed that I didn't even hear the whistle everyone had talked about, oh well I have probly spent money on worse things!
