I would NOT recommend the installation of this snorkel in a TJ Jeep unless the owner possesses above average mechanical skills and has skill operating a reciprocating saw. On my 2004 Wrangler Unlimited a lot of cutting had to be done for routing of the flex hose from the snorkel to the air box. One shop quoted me 4 hours for a skilled technician, the shop that installed the snorkel for me took the technician 3.5 hours to complete.

I received my product very quickly and was eager to install. The hardest part of the install was routing the flex tubing. In the manual it says there are (02) large holes in the vertical battery supports but in a 2005 there is only one large and one very small. It took 4 dremel bits to make the hole large enough to route the flex tubing through. Other than that awesome product! and cheapest price on the net I could find!!
