aFe Magnum Force Cold Air Intakes Reviews

1st week test

Reviewed By Randy v (Kalamazoo, MI) Reviewed for a 2009 BMW 1-Series —3/30/2012 8:40 AM

Installation: the foam/rubber hood seal does not stay in place during the installation due to the confined space in the 135i engine compartment. I have had to reposition it twice. Performance: once the car is in motion the intake scoops installed with the aFe cold air intake make a difference. acelleration seems inproved slightly. MPG highway has been increased by 3 - 5 mpg.

I bought it for the sound it makes.

My BMW was way to quiet for my taste. I wanted to have a car sound like a machine it is. In the higher RPMs, it roars and I like that. I sure there was a performance gain, but I never put it on a Dyno.

The Shape And Rubber Neck Of This Filter Fits So Great

Reviewed By Chad J (Kent, WA) Reviewed for a 2006 Chrysler 300 —6/22/2016 5:44 PM

I have always been an Airaid guy however the volant filter fit so much better in my space so it was a no brainer. Now for performance during my datalogs on my Chrysler 300 SRT8 I was able to achieve 1 atmosphere in my intake manifold which probably does not mean anything to most people. What this means is that according to my cars computer there is no air intake restriction and the computer can allow for maximum performance in this area.
