"I saved a lot of money buying the intake from Auto Anything. I would reccomend this to any CTS owner. Gives the engine a nice growl. Still too early to tell on gas milage." —Austin B from Coon Rapids, MN bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 Cadillac CTS.
"I got this Air intake for my 2005 CTS. My CTS sounds like a CRuise Missle now plus the Torque upgrade is very noticable. I would recmmend this brand over K&N any day!!!!!" —Chris A from Knoxville, TN bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 Cadillac CTS.
"The quality of the unit is very good, far superior to the lingenfelter unit. The directions are not so good. Only one piece gave me trouble, the metal bracket that secures the front of the unit to the frame of the car. I ended up using a plastic fastener. As with all intake units it does whistle a bit between 2000-2500 rpms. The engine and exhaust is noticeably louder. Power? Hard to notice going from 400hp to 410hp. Anyway, I like it." —Grady V from Naperville, IL bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2005 Cadillac CTS.
"I have a 05 Cadillac CTS v. The installation was easy once I got the old air box off. I had to bend more twist in the short bracket in order to get the bolt hole and slot in the bracket to fit properly. I haven't checked the sealing as of yet.it makes a little more noise, but not a problem. I didn't notice any differance in power, but I think the best indication will be gas milage. I can get 23-24 mpg at 70mph, we shall see if it improves. if i can control my right foot." —Mitchell M from Hobart , IN bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2005 Cadillac CTS.
"I dropped a Volant CAI into my '05 Cadillac CTS, a high mileage (94,000) used car that I bought because I just loved its performance. With the Volant CAI on it, it just screams. The addition put a little bass in the exhaust note, throttle reponse is hugely improved, and when the pedal hits the firewall, the car just flies--there has to be at least a 15 hp gain, and a corresponding improvement in torque, too. The installation was not easy--it's a tight fit, and some of the hardware had to upgraded at the local Home Depot. But the thing just goes like stink. I'm hoping for an improvement in gasoline mileage, but the problem is, it sounds so good and runs so good I'm on it all the time--not the best way to get better mileage." —David R from Plano, IL bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 Cadillac CTS.
"I recently installed the K&N aircharger.Great product, easy installement. Took about 45 min. the whole thing. Now the car has a great sound. You can hear the engine sucking in air.Car feels more responsive. All in all, great product." —Dave L from Tessenderlo, Belgium bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2005 Cadillac CTS.
"this is for a 05 CTS-V...Instructions were so-so. A few tips: 1)make sure you put the box and intake pipe together then put in the car. 2)I suggest not putting the top right screw into the cover. It will stay on with the three others and the final cornere slides under the fender anyway. Otherwise the screw will be unaccessable once the box slides in under the fender. If you don't put the screw in you will be able to install the filter after you tighten down the box and will be able to clean the filter with out haveing to remove the box." —James B from Kirkland, WA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 Cadillac CTS.
