Was easy to install but w the k&n intake I had to cut my fan shroud and part of the back of the blades off my fan a piece off each blade 1 inch long by the thickness of the throttel body spacer . The k&n cold air intake has about a cm clearance from the fan when installed. Was worth the time and adjustments added power off the line stretched out my shifts and performes well towing up hill and added 4 Mpgs was worth the money and hour to put in.

This review is probably a little premature as I just installed the unit yesterday. That being said, I am very pleased with this product. No issues installing it on my 2004 Avalanche. Everything fit as expected. Filter was very tight so warmed it with a hair dryer and it went on without issue. The heat shielding is also a little difficult. Noticeable improvement in engine response even at low rpms. Must wait to see if an improvement in gas mileage results but am pleased with unit so far.
