1999 Blazer 4.3 Manual / Clarkston, MI

Reviewed By Bob K (Clarkston, MI) Reviewed for a 1999 Chevy Blazer —5/28/2009 12:05 PM

I was a little concerned about the fit when I ordered the K & N unit. The instructions were good and I spent an extra hr. cutting a larger opening for the air flow in the front of my truck. It runs much better, idles better and performance has improve. The nicest thing is before I put it in you have to start off at about 1000 RPM and now I can take off at almost idle and the pick-up is improved. It;s worth the money.

Taylor Cable Helix Power Tower Throttle Body Spacer Reviews

Worth the money and time

Reviewed By Michael R (SHAWNEE, KS) Reviewed for a 2001 Chevy Blazer —11/7/2016 2:17 PM

I have been looking for a thrifty way to get power out of my 4.3L V6 4x4. I installed the tower in just a few minutes and have enjoyed the added torque, horse power and mileage. The only thing that I feel the Taylor Cable people need to change, is the length of the front studs. If they where a half an inch longer, installers would be more comfortable with how far to install them, because the throttle cable bracket has to be mounted on the drivers side stud.
