Taylor Cable Helix Power Tower Throttle Body Spacer Reviews

Worth the money and time

Reviewed By Michael R (SHAWNEE, KS) Reviewed for a 2001 Chevy Blazer —11/7/2016 2:17 PM

I have been looking for a thrifty way to get power out of my 4.3L V6 4x4. I installed the tower in just a few minutes and have enjoyed the added torque, horse power and mileage. The only thing that I feel the Taylor Cable people need to change, is the length of the front studs. If they where a half an inch longer, installers would be more comfortable with how far to install them, because the throttle cable bracket has to be mounted on the drivers side stud.

Great little device

Reviewed By Eric P (Moriarty, NM) Reviewed for a 2012 Ford F-150 —5/25/2017 8:22 PM

I installed this on a F-150 with the 5.0 and it did make a little difference on the low end. Gas mileage increased slightly maybe. The real big difference is the sound this motor made before when you stepped on the gas, you could really hear the air sucking in the intake. This little device made it quieter. Really easy to install. I had to do some clean up of plastic fibers that was hanging on the back side because it looked like they would drag air.
