K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (50-State Legal) Reviews

Toss-up between this and Whisper lid

Reviewed By Greg L (Antioch, TN) Reviewed for a 2000 Chevy Camaro —6/4/2007 8:11 PM

The FIPK didn't really add any extra horses to the Camaro but it gives it that low rumble I wanted. Once I add the new exhaust, these two items will work perfectly together. I wasn't sure about this intake versus the Whisper Lid with CAI mod but this worked out better. I'm still going to add the CAI just to get more air flow but I don't regret this purchase. Just would have liked to "feel" the extra air flow with this intake immediately like I did when I added one to my Supra.

i put a exhaust and a cai on my camaro . their was alot of drone in side the car and it didnt sound wright. the oem air sensor was not allowing all that new air threw.i got the jet power flow mass air sensor on it. that fixed everything. woke it up the exhaust sounds great now without that bad sounding drone in the car.the three addons work great together. if you got a cai and exhaust i would put it on to get the wright air flow for them to work wright. also auto anything was great to work with

Volant Cold Air Intakes Reviews

Its great

The car is faster and it's louder. The Volant cold air intake gives it a good sound.
