" —Jay L from Toledo, OH bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2006 Chevy Colorado.
"Great intake system that looks, sounds, and feels cool! Installation could be much easier if parts were marked better and instructions were a bit clearer. Also, the air intake box replacement did not seem to match the contours of the right front fender well. But all in all a very well engineered kit that definitely improves performance and sound!" —Harry T from Fairfax, VA bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2006 Chevy Colorado.
"Fairly easy to install. However, nothing ever fits perfectly without a bit of tweaking and this product required a fair bit of that. It makes a truck louder, in a good way, and increases the power a bit, but not as much as advertised/expected. The fuel economy increased by, at most 1 mpg. Overall, it's a quality product, but don't expect a dramatic difference in power and/or mpg." —Jason M from Atlantic Mine, MI bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2006 Chevy Colorado.
"Sweet. Sounds and performes like a new truck." —Patrick T from Sacramento, CA bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2006 Chevy Colorado.
"The install went very smooth. I did have to get a new air duct because the MAF mounting bolt holes on the mounting boss were not located properly. Sent Tech photos and the got me a good duct in 2 work days. All else went great and truck is much snappier now that it gets cooler air from ahead of the radiator. There is a slight low frequency sound increase but none of the loud swoosh/howling noise when you punch it. Inlet air temp at 35 mph dropped about 15 degrees F compared to OEM intake system. In my opinion, this is the only true cold air intake out there that I have seen. The autoanything price was right also." —Terry G from West Chester, OH bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2006 Chevy Colorado.
"First of all I was VERY impressed with shipping. I ordered the intake on the morning of November 14th. I am not lying when I say that it was delivered to my house on November 15th. I did not pay anything extra for shipping, that was just the standard free shipping that was included. A+ on Shipping.I am not too familiar with whats under the hood of my truck or any other auto for that matter but I wanted to put the intake on myself. It was very easy and took me about 2 hours just because I was very careful and kept checking myself. It was very easy.I have only been through one take of gas so far but the MPG already went from 22 to 23. I got 400 miles out of my first full tank for the first time.I can tell the increase in power is there. I love the intake and would recommend it to anyone. Everything is perfect. Shipping was excellent. Thank you AutoAnything!" —Andrew B from Rock Hill, SC bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2006 Chevy Colorado.
"The K&N aircharger was good for a quicker throttle response, I'm not sure about adding anything for gas mileage. But worth the small investment. And it also added more sound, and it wasn't to loud like some girls said in the past." —Karl P from Cheshire, CT bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2006 Chevy Colorado.
"Installation instructions were easy to follow and clear.I installed this w/o any modification to the exhaust system to see the difference the intake-only makes. It definately added more torque and you can definately feel the power change when going uphill. On a Colorado, you know that irritating downshift at 55mph when heading up an incline?that has increased to around 62mph now.Great sound when you trounce on the gas, no real change in mileage. Do you want this? yeah...Was it worth the $285? Well, it looks good, sounds good, and the truck performs better, but you'll have to decide for yourself." —John M from Redmond, WA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2006 Chevy Colorado.
"Not all the parts came with the kit. Missing two strips of the padding that go on the guard, and my truck did not have the fuel something and they did not give a plug to the insert. other than that i love it. I still need the two pieces of Padding to go on the gaurd." —Eric C from Ravia, OK bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2006 Chevy Colorado.
"Purchased for my 06 Colorado with a 3.5L. The throttle response is a lot better great growl above 4000 rpm. Would highly recommend" —Michael T from Bettendorf, IA bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2006 Chevy Colorado.
"it took a novice mechanic like myself 2 hours to remove the old air system and install the new k&n 63 series. not bad i didnt think. low end torch jumped up ALOT. midrange stayed about the same and the high end gain a noticable amount of power. VERY loud in the cab when full throttled or when the cruise control jumps, but idols and cruises quiet. very impressed with the gains. the sound is a good throaty sound on accel, high rpm is a little ricey. no gain in mpg. might have a small loss. no more them a mile per gallon but then again ive been drive alittle hard due to the new hp :)" —Steven C from Bradford, PA bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2006 Chevy Colorado.
