"Everything fit really good. The only thing is the filter is a little big for the space. I ended up cutting the shroud and made a air scoop to attach underneath the shroud. to releive it Now it works fine. Thanks,Bill T2001 C5" —Bill T from Sellersburg, IN bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2001 Chevy Corvette.
"I felt a bit of extra horsepower and torque immediately after installing. My only concern with the product was the fact that AFE forgot to include in my package the rubber coupling to connect the actual intake to my intake manifold. I had to go find it myself at another nearby car store which ran me an extra $15. I called autoanything and they had AFE send me one but by the time I got it the following Tuesday (I installed on Friday and nobody was shipping until Monday) so it was nice to get it later but was rather useless as I couldn't return the one I already purchased myself. They need better quality control before sending stuff out. It was an honest mistake but I'm still happy with my intake especially for the price considering some cost $350-500 and take hours of installation. Mine costed $250 total and about 45 min. Installation." —Dorin G from Carmichael, CA bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2001 Chevy Corvette.
"It says it will set you back in your seat and it will do just that, the throttle response in there right now.Though it might be just a high price air cleaner but after putting it on Iam verry happy I did." —Jerry G from South Bend, IN bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2001 Chevy Corvette.
