"If Airaid thinks that this is a bolt on installation, then they have alot to learn from companies like K&N. I have done full on installs of bolt ons, including a complete suspension replacement on my old Mustang GT with Maximum Motorsports tubular K-member, a-arms and replacing the rear suspension with Max Motorsports Torque Arm and panhard bar setup. Bought the Airaid for my 2008 LS3 Corvette. Figured it should bolt right on. It doesn't come close. I will keep it, as the price point is the only thing going for it. I would rather pay a few dollars more for one that fit properly without having to force things to fit. At least the intake tube and throttle body mate up well.Next time, I will buy from another company. Maybe I got a bad unit, don't know. All I can say is that the one I got fit like garbage." —Brenda B from San Benito, TX bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2008 Chevy Corvette.
"I selected the Airaid intake system for my 2008 Corvette with the LS3 motor. I selected the Airaid system because it was $150-200 less than the other brands--which I thought were over priced. I was very satisfied with the quality and engineering of the system--the installation instructions and hardware were very well thought out. I did not detect any difference in the intake noise versus the stock housing/filter. Just put it on so I can't say what benefits I will notice on a long trip." —Charles C from Ocean View, DE bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2008 Chevy Corvette.
"It took me a bit longer to install than what the company claimed. It looks ok when finished, nothing pretty or cool about it. I haven't noticed a difference in performance or an increase in gas mileage. I'm keeping an eye on the mileage as I expect an increase down the road, it's too soon yet to tell. I expected an explanation as to how to clean the filter. Do you have to remove the filter to clean it? If that's the case you pretty much have to remove everything to get to the filter. I have an '08 Vette Z06." —Floyd B from Spring Hill, FL bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2008 Chevy Corvette.
"Well worth the effort of installation. The power gain and throttle response is great. I will buy more performance parts." —John B from Eden, NY bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2008 Chevy Corvette.
