K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit Reviews

Great Product From Autoanything.com

Reviewed By James D. G (Milton, FL) Reviewed for a 2008 Chevy Corvette —11/21/2014 9:58 AM

Autoanything offered the lowest price on this K&N 63. It is very easy to install, but there is one important bit of information that K&N should stress in their instructions. When fitting the plastic air intake tube and the lip of the plastic filter together into the silicone hose both parts MUST be inserted as deep as possible before tightening the two hose clamps. My K&N would not fit when I first tried installing it on my 2008 ZO6.

Airaid Installation

Reviewed By Floyd B (Spring Hill, FL) Reviewed for a 2008 Chevy Corvette —8/20/2010 8:07 AM

It took me a bit longer to install than what the company claimed. It looks ok when finished, nothing pretty or cool about it. I haven't noticed a difference in performance or an increase in gas mileage. I'm keeping an eye on the mileage as I expect an increase down the road, it's too soon yet to tell. I expected an explanation as to how to clean the filter. Do you have to remove the filter to clean it? If that's the case you pretty much have to remove everything to get to the filter. I have an '08 Vette Z06.

No installation instruction just detailed parts list

Reviewed By Charlie S (Hattiesburg, MS) Reviewed for a 2013 Chevy Silverado —5/28/2013 8:18 PM

I didn't like the fact that Volant said it had details instruction when all that came with the kit and on the website was a detailed parts list and pictures. Luckily since I'm highly mechanically inclined I was able to figure out what needed cutting out and what parts went where. I think Volant should rethink their instruction method. But by no means does it take away from the value of the product.
