I have been doing a great deal of research ahead of my future 383 build. Everything I read about these TBs is true. Excellent piece of equipment. The job was pretty simple. I took me longer that BBK said i should, but I am a do-it-your-selfer and not a mechanic. In front of this TB I modified the airbox with a grinder, too the screen out of t he MAP. Haven't tweeked the tune yet, but noticed a difference anyway. AutoAnything offered the cheapest price. First time buyer with them--very pleased.

Supplied throttle body bolts were too long. Removed 1 cm off the top bolt because it extended out onto the EGR block off plate. Removed .5 cm off the bottom bolts because they bottomed out in the intake before snugging up the throttle body. The shoulders of the intake bolts extended below the intake itself. I used a die to cut the threads up .5 cm on the shoulder. Intake = 85cm Throttle body = 80cm Supplied gasket = 79cm Called BBK - was told "no one else has complained about it"
